About Yoga.
Yoga predates modern medicine. It comes from ancient Indian tradition and lays the foundation for much of our present day psychotherapy practice. Trauma healing requires somatic work. This means we work the trauma out of our physical body—where it is stored— and create a holistic and systemic change through connecting the mind, body, and soul/spirit.
Choose from Hatha, Vinyasa, or Yin Yoga in person, in Miami, or online from anywhere. I recommend Yin Yoga, from Chinese medicine, to release trapped trauma, emotions, stress, and memories from deep within our connective tissue, joints, and bones. The benefit of 1:1 yoga is that sequences are tailored to your needs.
About Sound Healing.
Music promotes mental and physical healing. Every object and living thing has an energetic frequency. Sound healing allows us to shift the energetic and emotional frequencies in our physical bodies to promote emotional and spiritual balance.
In Michi’s sessions, seven crystal quartz bowls are used to align and unlock blockages in our 7 energy centers known as chakras—reducing stress hormones, anxiety, physical pain, motor functioning, improve mood and awareness, and much more.
